Ingredients
-
3 lbs. Russet potatoes
-
½ cup butter
-
1 Tablespoon salt
-
2 Teaspoons Sea Salt & Herbs Spice
-
¼ cup heavy cream
-
4 Tablespoons whole milk
-
1 Teaspoons black pepper
-
2/3 cup breadcrumbs
-
2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
-
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Wash and peel the potatoes to then cut them into cubes. Place the potatoes into boiling water and let cook for about 25 minutes or until tender enough to be mashed.
While the potatoes are cooking, chop the parsley and melt the butter in the
microwave. Divide both the parsley and butter into two portions, one for the
mashed potatoes and for the bread crumb topping.
Strain the water from the boiled potatoes and mash until smooth. Add the milk, heavy cream, spices, and the first half portion of butter and parsley. Mix until fully combined.
For the bread crumb topping, mix the other half portion of melted butter, parsley, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
Place the mashed potatoes in a 9” x 9” pan and spread into an even layer. Coat the top with the breadcrumb mixture.
Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes or until golden brown on the top.
