Ingredients
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb total)
2 tbsp all purpose flour
1 tbsp Peppa Lemon seasoning
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 clove garlic, minced
½ cup chicken broth
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp fresh lemon zest
⅛ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Directions
Carefully fillet the boneless skinless chicken breasts into thinner pieces or use thin cut chicken breasts.
Combine flour and Peppa Lemon seasoning in a shallow bowl.
Coat both sides of the chicken evenly with the flour mixture and shake off any excess.
Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Cook chicken for approximately 5 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Avoid overcrowding the skillet.
Transfer chicken to a clean plate and loosely cover to keep warm.
Add butter and garlic to the skillet and sauté for approximately 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and whisk while scraping browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Add lemon juice and lemon zest. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly reduced.
Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top until heated through.
Sprinkle evenly with freshly cracked black pepper and parsley if desired before serving.
