What type of bread should I use?

When it comes to making the perfect garlic bread, the type of bread you use is crucial. Good garlic bread should have a crispy crust and a soft, fluffy interior.

    FRENCH BREAD

One of the best types of bread to use is a crusty French baguette. French bread should be sliced lengthwise and brushed with garlic butter mixture before toasting in the oven.

    SOURDOUGH BREAD

Sourdough bread also makes great garlic bread. It has a chewy texture and a tangy flavor that pairs well with garlic butter.

    ITALIAN BREAD

Another good option is Italian bread, which is a bit denser than French bread, it is also great for garlic bread. It has a nice chew and holds up well to the butter and garlic. Whichever bread you choose, make sure it is fresh and of good quality to get the best result.

    TEXAS TOAST

Texas toast is a type of thick-cut white bread that is known for its large slices and is often butter-grilled or toasted, which gives it a crispy exterior and a soft, fluffy interior. It is typically sliced at a thickness of around 1 inch, which is thicker than traditional white bread and is a popular choice for those who want a heartier option for their garlic bread.

To add it to the butter, simply mix the cheese into the melted butter and garlic mixture before spreading it on the bread. This will give a delicious cheesy flavor and a nice texture to the garlic bread.

You can also add other types of cheese to the recipe, such as mozzarella, gouda, or cheddar to make it more interesting. Be careful not to add too much cheese as it can overpower the taste of the garlic bread seasoning.
